The story begins on the eve of the wedding of Veera Tripathi ( Alia Bhatt), the daughter of a rich business tycoon, she is on the road with he boyfriend when she is kidnapped. the band kidnaps his panics when they learn that his father has ties to the government, However Mahabir ( Randeep Hooda) one of his captors , is willing to do whatever is required to view this medium. they constantly move to different cities, to avoid being traced by the police. as the days pass, Veera finds peace in his slavery to the point that she trusts him of his troubled childhood. he fear of abduction is taken over by a sense of freedom.
