I remember someone once describerd 'Grosse Point Blank' (surely better the role of John Cusack) and his character in Say Anything all grown up. well. probably more generous fashion and / or entertainment is to see this movie as a continuation of that film, with the love that went wrong and Martin Blank back at it again 17 years later.
It's too bad It's nowhere near as good a film : Robert De Niro once again takes the money, spend as little screen time as possible and runs out the back door with a bag marked swag that man once the biggest movie star in the world.
